The Cisco Chain of Lakes

The Cisco Chain of Lakes in Michigan’s Western Upper Peninsula has 15 interconnected lakes in the chain directly adjacent to the Sylvania Wilderness. Public access is available on both Cisco and Thousand Island Lake. The Cisco Chain is accessible by small motorboats, canoes, kayak, or other small boat craft. The lakes are known for fish species such as: Trout, musky, walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, and panfish.  Stay in Ironwood and take a brief 45 minute drive to your destination.
