The U.P. BEAT Music & Arts Festival is a two-day music and arts festival located in Ironwood, Michigan! Join us at the main stage in the heart downtown at the Downtown City Square outdoor amphitheater.
This festival is hookin’ you up with FREE entry to live music at several downtown locations for an unforgettable experience!
The event will start at 2:00 p.m. and end at Midnight both days, May 23 and 24, 2026. Come experience the soul, the funk, the groove and energy of an amazing line up of talented musicians. Downtown Ironwood will come alive with the unique and eclectic sounds of these incredible artists, offering travelers and the local community a weekend filled with music and dancing.

The U.P. Beat Music and Arts Festival is officially seeking local and regional creators to bring their vision to life in the heart of the Northwoods. Join us for a weekend where the visual arts meet the rhythm of the stage.

- Cost: FREE participation for all selected artists.

- Artist Vendors We are looking for painters, photographers, jewelers, sculptors, textile artists, and digital artists to showcase and sell their work.
- Vendors are responsible for their own booth setup (tents, tables, displays).
- Zero commission fees—you keep 100% of your sales.
- Live Artist Performances Limited slots are available for artists to perform live during festival show times.
- Ideal for muralists, live painters, sculptors, wheel throwers, or interactive installation artists.
- Work alongside the music and engage with the festival crowd.
