Snow Fall For the Season 2026
Dangerous Wind Chill

Cross country skiing at ABR resort near Ironwood, Michigan.
January in Ironwood is shaping up to be a frigid month. The Midwest is in the midst of a winter storm, pushing the wind chill down to -55 this morning. Be sure to suit up before braving the outdoors, wear thick socks, and pick a nice mild day to engage in your favorite winter sport.
Plenty of Powder
The storm has also gifted us with tremendous snowfall, leaving plenty to go around for all winter sport activities! This time last year we had about ~61 inches of total snowfall. So far this year we have had about ~106 inches of total snow fall.
So spend cold days inside drinking tea with loved ones and pets, and spend powdery ones out on the many trails Ironwood has to offer.
