Porcupine Mountains Music Festival

July 22nd - July 23rd

Porcupine Mountains Music Festival

Michigan’s Western Upper Peninsula

The Porcupine Mountains Music Festival, presented by the Friends of the Porkies will be held at the Ski Hill area of the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park in Ontonagon County, on August 23 & 24, 2024. This activity is supported in part by an award from the Michigan Arts and Culture Council.  The festival is held annually, in late August on the Friday & Saturday that fall the week prior to the Labor Day holiday weekend.

The festival made state history in 2005, as the first music festival held in a Michigan State Park, and 2024 will mark its 18th production.  With an emphasis on music, the festival is non-genre specific and its performers arrive from all over the Country and abroad to bring to the Porkies’ stage a diverse selection of musical styles: Americana, blues, country, bluegrass, rock, folk and more.
