Miners Park Bike Trails

The Miners Park Mountain Bike Trails (MMHP) in Ironwood, Michigan, has 10 miles of mountain bike trails. The 167-acre park, located in the center of the city, was once the location of numerous historical mining operations. The new network of mountain biking trails provides opportunities for cyclists of all levels – from beginner to advanced. The park includes several trailheads around the park as well as a link and trailhead on the Iron Belle Trail north of the site. The Miners Park Mountain Bike Trails also features a network of walking, cross-country and snowshoe trails and hosts community activities such as the Candle Light Snowshoe Hike and the SISU Ski Fest, a popular cross-country ski race in Ironwood.

In 2022 the mountain bike trails were designed and built by Flowtrack are connecting the City of Ironwood neighborhoods directly to mountain bike trails.  This project has created an interconnected biking system while utilizing the Michigan’s Iron Belle Trail as the backbone to the overall trail system.  These trails allow you to easily bike anywhere in Ironwood.
