The World According to Allee Willis (2024), directed by Alexis Spraic, is a documentary utilizing over 10,000 hours of personal archives to profile the colorful life of the songwriter behind “September” and “Friends.” It explores her rise as a prolific artist, her vibrant “Pee-Wee’s Playhouse” social life, and her private struggles with identity.
