June Highlights

  • Downtown Ironwood Concert Series
  • Friday, June 5th from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm

Mark your calendar for the start of the Downtown Ironwood Concert Series.  Each First Friday of each month Downtown will feature a musical performance, farmers market, food trucks, and businesses open later.  Visit the Downtown Ironwood City Square for a good time with music, grab a bite or a drink from your favorite vendor or local business, and just hang out in downtown!

  • IWA “Sweetest Wake on Sunday Lake – New Pavilion, Wakefield, MI

Open Snowmobile Racing on Sunday Lake is a high-energy, outdoor motorsport event where snowmobile riders of all skill levels compete in open-format races across the surface of Sunday Lake.

Spectators can expect fast-paced racing, exciting snowmobile maneuvers, and a festive atmosphere that brings together riders, fans, and the local community.

It’s a fun, family-friendly gathering that celebrates snowmobiling culture with plenty of action on the water!

  • Emberlight Festival – Various venues on the Gogebic Range

The Emberlight Festival began as an idea in 2019 and has blossomed into an amazing attraction on the Iron Range.

Participants enjoy performance infusions, main stage productions, art shows, behind the curtain moments, and an international film festival.

Over 60 % of the Festival is FREE to attend and the average ticket price is just $17 for paid events.

This August, we celebrate the 20th Annual Porcupine Mountains Music Festival, presented by Friends of the Porkies. Join us August 28 and 29, 2026 at the Winter Recreation Area (Ski Hill) of the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park in Ontonagon, Michigan. Two days of music, community, and the magic of the Porcupine Mountains.
