Each year, Ironwood, Michigan, transforms into a winter wonderland for the first week of December by celebrating the Jack Frost Parade and the Frost Friday Holiday Market. These beloved community events draw locals and visitors alike to enjoy the holiday festivities.
The fun kicks off on Friday, December 6th, with the Frost Friday Holiday Market. Downtown Ironwood will become a festive holiday marketplace, featuring nearly 30 vendors spreading holiday cheer. The Frost Friday Holiday Market is the perfect place to find one-of-a-kind local gifts while immersing yourself in Ironwood’s holiday charm.

The following day, Saturday, December 7th at 6 pm, the Jack Frost Parade takes center stage. This Ironwood tradition lights up Main Street with holiday-themed floats, decorated by local businesses, organizations, and community groups. Viewers gather along the parade route to enjoy the festive display. Be sure to have your seat by 5:45 to watch the Santa Dash take place. A group of Santas will dash through the parade route, bringing smiles and laughter to the heart of downtown Ironwood.It’s the perfect way to kick off an evening of holiday festivities.
