Michigan’s Western U.P. & Northern Wisconsin

Snowmobiling in the Western U.P. and Northern Wisconsin is always a favorite for many riders throughout the country.  With access to heavy snowfalls, cold conditions, and excellent terrain, visitors return year after year for a great ride and access to hundreds of miles of trail!  However, this year has presented many challenges for the trails.  A below average snowfall and cold conditions has made opening the trails difficult or near impossible.

There is Hope

During the MLK weekend the Western U.P. was blanketed with heavy snowfall and frigid temperatures.  This has allowed for rolling and grooming throughout the county. Lake Gogebic has iced over and should have enough ice for riding.
